State Parks announces more parking closures, including Orange County beaches and Riverside area parks, to curb coronavirus spread

April 22, 2020San Clemente shut down the favourite quay and city-owned beachfront parking lots in an effort to curb the spread of coronavirus, with the closures starting Wednesday, March 25.
The sand and ocean, as well as the beach path, remain open for now.
Coastal metropolis the coming week across Southern California responded to crowds and reports from last weekend of parties ignoring coronavirus social-distancing settles , as the regime tries to curb the number of members of people infected.
Some coastal municipalities enforced full endings of their beaches and some hiking footpaths or commons, while others reenacted soft closures of areas such as piers and parking lots to ease crowds.

All city-owned beachfront parking lots and the San Clemente Municipal Pier will close to the public until further notice.
This action aligns with the most recent guidance from Gov. Gavin Newsom’s office to limit public rallies and shorten the spread of COVID-1 9.
Parking lot closes include all metered infinites in the following locations :* North Beach Parking Lot( Note, parking for Metrolink customers and commuters will remain available at the designated location in the north end of the fortune .)* Linda Lane Parking Lot* Pier Bowl& Parque Del Mar Parking Lots* T-Street Parking
At this time, City beaches and the beach footpath will remain open for application; nonetheless, this is subject to change pending further guidance or directives from the County of Orange or the California Department of Public Health. Users must follow social distancing guidelines and maintain a six-foot separation from people that are not part of their households at all times.
