A surfer was discovered face down in the spray at Upper Trestles early Saturday morning.
The man, described as middle age, was investigated striving as he paddled out into the channel-surf at the break-dance just south of San Clemente’s border, said Rich Haydon, south sphere Superintendent for State Parks.
It’s equivocal if “the mens” was contending because of the surf conditions or because of health issues.
The surfers nearby then saw the man face down in the water.
“They rescued him, produced him to the beach and did CPR for 10 hours, ” Haydon said.
Camp Pendleton Fire Department reacted and continued attempting CPR before certifying the man dead on scene.
Surf the past few epoches has been strong, with conditions Saturday morning described as 2-to 3 paw and tempestuou, Haydon said.
A surfer was found dead in the water at Doheny State Beach from health topics earlier this year despite relief tries from fellow surfers.
