Traditional and nontraditional quilts will be on display at the Fantasea of Quilts show Saturday and Sunday, June 2 and 3, at Soka University in Aliso Viejo.
Sponsored by Beach Cities Quilters Guild, the event brings together the “best of the best” in quiltmaking, The show will feature displays of 270 quilts and a variety of dolls and clothing handcrafted by guild members as well. More than 30 vendors will be on hand selling fabric, quilting supplies, and accessories.
In addition to the displays, a live auction of 42 quilts will be held on Saturday at 2:30 p.m. Drawing tickets can be purchased at the show for a beautiful Opportunity Quilt, “Sunshine, Lollipops and Rainbows,” as well as for 25 raffle baskets.
Hours are Saturday 10 a.m.-5 p.m., Sunday 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Admission is $10 and parking is free. No strollers, please.
