In 1999, Founding Director Garry Brown started Coastkeeper with two works in a small Newport Beach office and an annual budget of $100,000. Twenty years later, Garry is are participating in over 22 hires sprawled across Orange County, Inland Empire and Coachella Valley working with an annual budget of over$ 2 million to defend clean water.
